Dan is a character actor
CURRENTLY BASED OUT OF NYC!
Dan grew up in Abingdon, MD, where he spent most of his early childhood performing in theatre and entertaining at family holiday functions as Elvis Presley.

As a result of being born with a clubbed foot, Dan had four surgeries and numerous leg and foot casts before he began elementary school. But, no complaints here, as he was able to enjoy cheese curls and “Teddy Grahams” while learning about “TV Land” and the comedic geniuses of the past. He quickly developed a love of mimicking television legends such as Lucille Ball, Andy Griffith, Don Knotts, Jackie Gleason, Dick Van Dyke, and Jim Nabors. He would even wake up early to watch Don Adams in “Get Smart” before school!

Fast forward to winning tickets to “Peter Pan on Tour”, his life changed when he discovered “the musical” and “musical comedy." These are the most glorious words in the English language! After being raised in Baltimore’s theatre community, performing over fifty children’s theater shows and performing in high school productions of “Noises Off”; “Annie Get Your Gun”; “Bye Bye Birdie”; and, “Get Smart”, Dan knew he had found his calling. HE WAS HOOKED!

After high school, Dan decided to travel to Manhattan to study with The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Since graduating in 2012, he has been working, touring, working some more, and living the dream! He has had some great experiences from traveling to 35 states in nine months with the National Players Tour 64 to performing in Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA, for six months in 2016. He recently enjoyed the opportunity performing in “Peter and the Starcatcher” (Alf) at The Tent Theatre in Springfield, MO, and "La Cage Aux Folles" (Dindon) at The Interlakes Summer Theatre of Meredith, NH, in the summer of 2018. It was also an eye opener to direct for the first time with "The Lion KIng Junior" for interlakes Children's Theatre. He directed while learning "Newsies" (Pulitzer) on the main stage. Wow!! His favorite role to date is “Lennie Small” in “Of Mice and Men”.

As Frankie Valli says in Jersey Boys, "I'm still out there singing, like the bunny on tv with the battery ... I just keep going and going and going..."

Most importantly, Dan loves his family and his friends in MD and NYC.
